Green and Sweet - Overview

The apples in this section remain green with only the very faintest suggestion of a flush as they ripen.  They are sweet enough to eat from the tree although Granny Smith does not usually ripen fully in this country and samples brought in for identification are often sour enough to make you imagine they are cookers.
